Hi Fiona! Happy Dog of the Day, sweetheart!

Be still my JRT (and Chi, hehe) loving heart! You're just too precious for words, Fiona, one fabulous blend of JRT and Chi! How could anyone resist? hehe Surely not your mommy, who fell head over heels in love the moment she laid eyes on you on Petfinder, the CCHS website! Endless thanks to her for choosing rescue, opening up her home and heart to one most deserving girl! You may not be the pup your mommy thought she wanted, but as she herself says, you're certainly the pup she needed, the one she was meant to be with, perfect just as you are!

But she is perfect none the less. She is sweet, loves to cuddle and play. I mean, she is a cuddler, at least with me. One big thing I love about her is she is pretty much loyal to me, she is my little shadow. My Sweet Little Baby.

And yes, just as your mom says, it's so important to do the research necessary before selecting a breed/breed blend, assuring a good lifestyle fit, for the pup's and human's sake! Thankfully, though calling an apartment home, you have grandpawrents who live in the country, with a big yard, plenty of space for you to work all of that trademark JRT (boundless) energy! JRT's may be small in stature, but when it come to spunk and spirit, they run with the big boys and girls!

How lucky your mom is, having a most precious, loyal and loving best friend, a furry family member in you, Fiona! You're a treasure, and so very deservng of your big day of honor! Great thanks to your mom for sharing your heartwarming backstory and utterly heart-melting photos with us! Meeting you has made my cold and snowy day a whole lot warmer and brighter! Fiona is amazing! So glad you fell in love with her, got your hands full eh? What a perfect DOTD little Fiona be!
