I was watching for signs of him being blocked but judging by the little splotches left here and there, and the muscles he was using in the litter box, I knew it was #2!

A few minutes after I gave him the second spot of laxatone he made one trip to the litter box, then a few minutes later another trip. I won't describe the sound he made each time but it was progress. He then walked normally out of the room and didn't return.

By the time I went to bed, he hopped up, all ready to snuggle under the covers and purr. He was just fine.

I knew all the good thoughts and prayers would do the job. Thank you.

I'm so glad that Oscar is feeling better.
I've seen quite a few constipated kitties in the hospital, and it can develop into something very serious.
Miss Kitty is getting lactulose twice daily to keep her from getting constipated.

That's great news, Candace and Oscar! So glad you're doing better!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I'm glad to hear Oscar is feeling better now. Your good care surely helped.
