Ahhh...books! I just love reading! I am one of those people who can go into a B&N or Borders and not come back out for 5 hours! LOL
I read everynight before I go to bed too, and right now I have my nose deep into the Mists of Avalon. Fascinating read about the magical women behind King Arthur's throne. I have read the entire Cat Who mystery series, still waiting for the newest one to come out on paperback.
I have read the LOTR trilogy, but it's been awhile. I may have to re-read them for a refresher. I know many people who either love to read J. R. R. Tolkein's work, or they hate it. It can be a bit detailed. I was surprised at how well the movies were made. They are pretty much good stand alone movies, especially for those who haven't read the books though
I too can't wait for the 5th Harry Potter! Can you believe that it's already the top selling book simply because of all the people who have pre-ordered it! LOL Can't wait!!!

I also have been reading A Suitable Boy, which is an incredibly long novel that takes place in newly independent India (the 1950's) and it's about a girl (and all the extended families) whose mom is looking for a suitable boy. I alternate between that read and the Mists.
I also have my magazines too: Yoga Journal, ASPCA Animal Watch, Cat Fancy, and the Cornell Univ of Vet Meds Cat Watch.
