Lut, I know that whatever time Zazou has with you will be filled with all the love you and Bernard can give her. She is so precious. I am grateful she has no pain.

Sending PT prayers for a miracle.

Dear Zazou, so many folks are praying for you, sweet kitty.

Lut, how old is she? This is so hard, I know. A family member is aging and ill.

Zazou is 13 years old. Far to young to go to the Bridge...

This morning she got that injection. The vet advised us to let her rest wherever she wants; so she is lading in our garden, on her favorite spot.
I hope that the cortisone is working as soon as possible.
Good news: 10 minutes ago she came to the kitchen window, asking to let her come indoor.
She walked right on to her foodbowl! So we put some of her tuna, and yes, she ate it all!!!:

21 pm:She is getting more active now, and jumped on the cattree by herself! That's really positive!!
Of course we know this is only for a short period, but we are grateful with every extra day we het with her!!

Sweet Zazou ~ We hope you will continue to have good days and confuse the vet.
Enjoy your day in the garden and enjoy your dinner.
Ask your vet about microchipping. ~ It could have saved Kuhio's life.

I'm glad that her appetite has picked up again. The frequency of those injections depends on the cat's condition.
A cat with cancer or IBD can have them fairly often.
If Zazou is getting the shots only to boost her appetite, you might want to ask the vet about an actual appetite stimulant like Mirtazapine. Steroids can a have a lot of side effects.
If she is still sneezing due to an upper respiratory infection, she shouldn't any cortisone injections, as they depress the immune system, and they can actually cause kitty colds.

Zazou's appetite is slowing down again, only 1 week after her second cortisone shot.....!
She still eats, but she doesn't eat as much as after her first shot. We're afraid that she will stop eating soon.....

Aww, yeah, I understand. The steroids only work for so long. Sending you hugs and love, humans and kitties alike.

You've had some extra and wonderful time but I know it is never enough.

I don't know how her liver could be so bad...liver disease?

    Prayers for more happy days.
