Apparently someone in the stands claimed the cat and as soon as left the stadium the cat escaped and the Cards are looking for him.
I also read that the stadium was going to adopt some new procedures about caring for any animals that show up during a game!

Similar story with a great ending............back in 1990 a cat came on the field during an A's vs Yankee's game in Oakland and they managed to get her into a bathroom. This cat, Evie, is what inspired Tony La Russa and his wife to start his Animal Rescue Foundation. And I am proud to be a volunteer there for the past 9 years.
