What an amazing, heartwarming, rags to riches story is yours, sweetheart! We can't thank your parents enough for rescuing you (and your brother) in your time of need; a mere kitten about to have babies herself! I can only imagine the look of joy and surprise on your young lady's face when, upon her return from school, she found your beautiful self staring at her (and that wondrous white tundra) from behind that window! Your leg may not have healed properly, you may walk with a bit of a wobble, and sadly your babies didn't make it. But oh, how blessed you were the day your family packed you up and brought you home! And just as lucky are your humans, have a beautiful, quirky, lovable best friend for life in you! You're a treasure!
