On our walk this afternoon.It was partly sunny,a little cool and 46F.met Buddy and his owner,had a little greeting.This will probably be the last time Heidi will see Buddy.His owner told,he has been having trouble sitting down,has been biting at hair from his hips,says he is beginning to smell and is going blind.His mind is fine but the rest of him is starting to falter.He has been getting medication for it.Depending on how he is this week,he will have to be put down ,maybe next week,he doesn't want to him to suffer.Buddy is 12 years old,pretty good for a German Shepherd.I could remember watching from the living room His owner walk him when he was a puppy.This is his 2nd German Shepherd,his last one was only 8 when it passed on.Buddy's owner health not good either,they will probably move within the next year or so.
