Dearest Africa, you are adorable indeed! What a gorgeous fluffy grey girl you are. The photos you've posted are all stunning, thank you. You are so cute with your mouth open in the first picture, as if you're saying hello. And then there's the second picture in which you're lying on your back with your stomach turned up. Are you asking for a tummy rub there? If so, I wish I could reach through the screen down to La Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina and give you one (only if you like them, of course) and pet you. I can't, though, but I know your loving and beloved Purrrsons will give you a tummy rub (only if you like them, of course) and pet you for me .

What a sweet story you have to tell, too! You and your dear family came together through Facebook, and you were so tiny then you fit into their hands. You were scared at first, but you came out and joined in when you were ready. You had short hair in the early days, but you surprised everyone with how fluffy your fur grew out to be. You are very soft and warm and fluffy.

You love to hide in boxes and bags and small places, and to hunt worms and crickets and other insects and then purr and make weird noises as you eat them. You wake your dear friends in the morning with purrs and kneading. And you surprise Venus, your doggie housemate, by jumping from chairs to attack her. (We hope you and Venus are really or will soon be the best of friends.) What a delightful love-filled home you all share!

Congratulations, darling Africa, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Venus and your dear Purrrsons and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.
