Must be a slow news day today...

Saw a headline stating archeologists in Germany have found the world's oldest pretzel.

I think I'll pass? I will, however join you in some corned beef. I could make some Reubens with the leftovers.

    Balderdash, I say to you!!!!!

I have found the World's Oldest Pretzel in the seat cushion of my old recliner.

My brother just bought a new car - I asked him if he dug out the old french fries from under the seats of his trade in....I truly believe that anyone with kids and a car has The World's Oldest (Fill in the Blank) somewhere in the upholstery. Have you ever seen a Cheerio in a car from the last time Lance Armstrong won the Tour de France?

    A Rueben sounds great!

It's unusually warm for March in Chicago- 50 degrees! Could I have a McDaid's Football Special, please?

Tomorrow is Pi Day (3/14/15 - 3.1415), my choice would be apple pie but what would anyone else like?

A friend of mine (plays next to me in handbell choir) is getting married tomorrow, and as they are both self-described nerds, there will be 4 kinds of pies (2 chocolate) as well as wedding cake at the reception!

Perhaps a good spinach and mushroom quiche? That is kinda pie-like, right?

And then, as we were just discussing it - a nice indulgent chocolate pudding pie - graham cracker crust, sprinkle the bottom with chocolate chips, slice a banana over that, then fill with chocolate pudding and refrigerate - yum!
