He is probably picking up on her stress, if nothing else. She should just keep an eye on him, his whole life is getting disrupted, so it is natural he would react!

I'll be nearby. I think as Mom adjusts Binky will seem much healthier to her!![]()

Yes, I think you and Karen are right. Your mom and Binky are both facing monumental changes to their way of life and undergoing stress in advance. As they get used to the new surroundings and the new routine, your mom and then Binky will relax and things will get much better.
Best wishes to your mom and Binky, and you too, Candace!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

I agree, I think they are just being stress and how is your mum and Binky? I hope they are doing great now.
Binkey is great. He is on an easily digestible kibble - which, despite his many missing teeth, he enjoys.
He gets wet food once a day or so - and I put some stool softener in his kibble every few days.
So far - no barf! Almost 2 weeks now. And he has put on some weight!
Mom has enjoyed many of the activities at the residence. Her health is still not great - we see a BP specialist on May 5. She has a "Parkinson's Plus" syndrome. It - and the best medication for it - cause drops in her blood pressure when she stands up. EG: lying down - 110/63. Standing up (taken after several minutes) - 88/60.
We'll get there.
Thanks for asking!![]()
