I don't know why, but something compelled me to come write here today. I was just sitting here working away and tears just filled my eyes. Sometimes I just think of letting you go.
I always say I could never cry on command. But I think I could now. All I have to do is think of that night we had to say goodbye. Oh geez, now I am bawling here at work.

I am always comparing Zeplyn to you. I know I shouldn't do that. Like Bruce says.......she's not Zoee. You were MY first dog ever. Sure we had dogs growing up, but I never had one I called MINE.

Ok, I just had to let that out. Now I must go fix my make up!

.....I had to say goodbye. We still talk about you all the time. "Remember when Zoee would do this, or Zoee would have loved (or hated) that."
The dogs got skunked Friday morning and we brought up the 2 times you were skunked. The first time the worst.

It's so strange that it doesn't feel like it's been 3 years since you've been gone. But at the same time it feels like we've had Zeplyn for much longer than just 3 years.
I always wonder what it would have been like to have you and Zeplyn together.

I will turn on your sentsy warmer tonight in your honor (plus it will help with the skunk smell in the house).
