Maybe you can report that one doctor to the Ontario Medical Association. Yikes! Just so they have a record of what he did - you don't have to take legal action against him. Just the facts.

When I had surgery on my foot, they also wanted to amputate my foot.
the day before the surgery, I told the doctor to do the 'best he could', he did save my foot. I also underwent a 6 week session of having medicine/antibiotics IVs - that was the easy part.
YOU are half of the 'medical' team and what ever you bring to your treatment is part of getting better.
