What a beautiful 'tiel you are, Sparta! I may not be familiar with the movie "The 300," but I do know a "Braveheart" when I see one, and what a brave birdie you are, a fighter and survivor of heroic proportions! Oh, what a horrific life you were leading before finding your way out of that hellish existence, into the loving care of your forever human! I can't understand why a person would choose to welcome a living creature into their home, their family, when they have no intention of committing their love and care for life! Well, thankfully you're now in the care of a truly committed, and knowledgeable, forever human, one who will love you unconditionally, quirks and all, for life! And hooray! No more wooden dowel perches for you! It sounds like you and your feathered friends are still working things out, which is understandable. But I have a feeling that with time they too will come to appreciate you every bit as much as your mom does! What a happy, new beginning you've been blessed with, sweetheart, and how lucky your person is, having a beautiful, spirited, best feathered friend in you!
