Beautiful! Great shots. Did you miss the shore at ALL?!! These are great pics, so glad you took the time to get the new camera and develop your photography skills. Really shows in this group of photos. Thanks for posting these! Looking forward to the next installment (hint!).

What beautiful country all around you. Thanks for sharing the pictures & my cat, Joey, wants to thank you for the spooky sounds of the Loons. He loved them.

Sandie, too be honest, no! I've missed my family, friends, and being close to stores...but the beach...no! I mean, I love where I grew up and I have to say I appreciate it more now that I have been away. But the mountains have always called to me more than anywhere else, and to be honest, the Adirondacks in particular. I can't recall the whole entire quote, and it's very corny, but the Adirondacks are my "one true home".

Awesome pics, what a beautiful scenery! Years ago, I read a book written by a woman who chose to leave the big city (I think it was NYC) behind and built a log cabin in the Adirondacks to live there in solitude. That was the first time I ever heard of that region, must be breathtaking!

That scenery is absolutely stunning. I adore the second picture - makes me want to be on that boat! Lucky you living so close!
