Wow, Chilli! You are such a pretty chinchilla, and you are the oldest one we have ever had as Pet of the Day! You don't look older than 2, either! You are very special, and we are glad your human rescued you, and that was just the start of a long and loving relationship! And it's fun you are almost 2 pounds, when most chinchillas are so light they get measured in ounces or grams! You look like you are really enjoying that banana too! Your fur looks every bit as soft as your human describes, I would love to pet you if I could! We hope you have a wonderful day, and maybe you will bounce extra high when it is your morning fun time! It is your big day, Chilli!

Hi Chilli! Happy Pet of the Day to you, sweetheart!

Oh, what a beautiful, simply adorable Chin you are! Those Chin paws and ears, that soft, plush coat, they always get me! But look at those amazingly long whiskers! And you are, no doubt, the largest Chin I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! My jaw dropped when I read that you're an impressive 15" tall (when on your tippy toes), weighing in at 2lbs! Well, a girl with a heart as big as yours requires extra "sizing!" And just for the record, you don't look a day over 2! Wow, 11 years young! Your incredibly long and healthy life (with no signs of slowing down), is a testament to the wonderful care you've received over the past many years, not to mention an unlimited amount of love!

Great thanks to your human for rescuing you, providing you with the happiest life imaginable! How well her/his compassion has been rewarded, having known your love and friendship these many years (with many more yet to come)!
