I've been feeling a bit of guilt thinking if only I had noticed the symptoms sooner. I want her back SO bad.

Oh, Kim, even if you had noticed symptoms earlier there is likely nothing you could have done. You did everything a person could do, and we all know dogs tend to hide any illness as long was possible. Sending you big hugs, and comfort and a shoulder to cry on when needed.
