Pat, you might post a request in Rescue; I think some people there know about transports.

Pat, Best Friends has a list: http://bestfriends.org/Resources/Res...ort-Resources/

    http://www.animalrescuetransfersystem.org/

    http://www.farec.org/transport.htm

    http://www.ipata.org/

Perhaps if you could get them as far as Oregon or Washington State, a PTr could drive them into Vancouver.

Thank you for the links, Candace. I will take a look at these later when I have a little more time. Hopefully this afternoon when the libraries are open. I'm at Arborland Starbucks now, and want to go visit the kitties at the boarding place.

I'd wondered about that, if I could get them to say, Seattle, maybe they could get to Vancouver from there, or perhaps I could get them to Windsor if there's some kind of trans-Canada transport available.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Maybe contact the Trans=Canada Railroad, and ask them if they could take the kitties!

There is a PTr in Eugene Oregon. But she'd have to have some gas and food money, I think. I'll put a bug in her ear.

emily_the_spoiled lives in Washington State or DC?

Ok, wasn't sure which W it was!

We have two railways in Canada - Canadian National (CN) and Canadian Pacific (CP). Any connections they have into the USA would be on a partner rail line.

I've left a note with DJ Fyrewolf. Will let you know.

It's 7 hours from Eugene to Vancouver. Any PTrs live north of there?
