Now, anyone who even thought "if it fits I sits" was the sole purview of cats has never owned a dog, particularly never a puppy. I will never forget the incidents as our large breed dogs were growing up - like the day Freckles couldn't stand up under a kitchen chair anymore because she got tall enough so it lifted off the ground and moved with her ... Or, even more hysterically, the day Gracie (3/4 Great Dane) jumped with her usually enthusiasm into the recliner, but had grown just enough so her impact tipped the whole thing over, which confused the heck out of her! She's still persist and lie on that chair, even though more of the dog was hanging off that was contained by the chair, but after that day she'd "sneak up on it" instead of bounding!
