Aww, he looks like a busy little guy! Glad to see he has settled in well!

Yes that is him, he was very busy for almost an hour, then took a long rest.
I went to meet a woman to pick up some other fish she had posted on CL. I saw him and asked and she said she was going to flush him! So of course I took him in.
He was in a community tank with platysIt's a wonder he survived. They are fin nippers, hence his tail and fins are quite short. They should grow in nicely as he heals and settles down. I think he is a crowntail, but will have to wait and see what grows to be sure.

He's pretty. With his shorter fins, he reminds me of a big fancy guppy. Those guys were always a favorite of mine when I had my tanks.![]()

Now is the only time you have, so live it with a will -
Don't wait until tomorrow - the hands may then be still.

Thanks Ellie, he may turn out to be a mustard gas (that is the coloration name) which is dark blue body and yellow fins with black outline on the tips of the tail and fins. Time will tell, as he regrows them. I've been told it could be 2 months before he is fully back to normal.
I have never owned a guppy!
