Dearest Kandi, what a stunningly beautiful fluffy tabby-patterned Calico girl you are! I am so glad you were rescued after having been abandoned so cold-heartedly by some despicable alleged-human. You were found in the nick of time and given the love and care you needed so badly to make a full recovery, thank God. Now you have the most wonderful Purrmanent home with the most wonderful family, people who love you dearly and treasure you as the gift from God that you are.
You have the prettiest fur colors and pattern.. your coat is luxurious! And what a sweet face you have, with that little black mustache and those big green eyes full of the look of love. Your photos are adorable.. the closeup of your dear face, the shot of you rolling over, turning your tummy up for some rubs? .. and the one of you snoozing with your paws with their big pink pads stretched out. I sure wish I could reach through the screen to Burbank, CA to pet you. and skritch you gently under your chin and around your ears, and rub your tummy (only if you like tummy rubs, of course). Oh well, since I can't, I know your dear family members are giving you loads of pets and skritches and tum-rubs (only if you like those, of course)
.
You are not only beautiful to behold, you have a delightful Purrrsonality too! You were given your name to reflect your sweetness. You love attention from your family and get lots of it. You often entertain them with your running around the house. You and they all love each other dearly, don't you! Which is just as it should be, for all kitties for that matter. What a wonderful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Kandi, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
