Unfortunately I'm guessing some people do fall for it. Many years ago I recall an older friend told me she was going to receive money from Nigeria (remember that email) BUT she had to send some money first so legal affairs could be straightened out or something like that. She really believed it. I finally convinced her that it was a scam and a way to just get money from her. Some people are just gullible.
