I am so sorry for your loss of Mac. I have tears after reading your post. It sounds as if he was a very special loving boy. It's so hard to lose a beloved pet. My Condolences.

Thank you both, very much. Yes, Mac was as special as a cat can be. He was loving, smart (one of the smartest cats I've ever known), and never, ever, did anything nawty! He was perfectly behaved, even as a young cat. He always loved to sleep on or next to me, every night. Even on that last night, he managed to get himself up on my bed to sleep next to me. I am missing him very much, but I am also happy that he is out of his suffering.

Rest in peace, handsome MacGyver. Bless you for saving your mom that last trip to the vet, we are glad for you both that your struggles and pain are now over and you are happy and whole again at The Rainbow Bridge. Send some purrs both to your mom and to Kimba, so they know all is well with you where you are.

Oh, I am so very sorry. What a beautiful, beautiful cat, in appearance and in spirit. And a beautiful, beautiful Angel at the Rainbow Bridge now. How good that he was able to leave from home curled up next to his beloved Meowmie who loves him so very much.

May your precious memories and mementoes help to bring you comfort, Katladyd.

Dearest MacGyver, please send some purrs down to the hearts of your dear Meowmie and your dear Kimba to reassure them that all is well and you are with them always.

Wow, that brought on the tears. You know how much he loved you in that he chose to go while next to you. Cats usually like to go hide when it is there time to go.
    That just broke my heart.

RIP Mac, when the time is right you can help find Kimba a new friend.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

I'm so sorry about MacGyver. He'll be finding a lot of friends at the Rainbow Bridge, I'm sure.
