    Ellen and McGee

    Donna with Mickey and Peanut

Mickey is blind, so Donna put his 'halo' on him as he was in a new place. This protects his head, as rather than bumping his head into tables, chairs, trees, the bumper hits first.

The halo did not bother any of the other dogs as all, they just accepted it as a part of Mickey.

Here is a video, I was attempting to identify each dog.

A few photos from the bench.
Mary Ellen with Mattie and Sassy

    Willy Tasha and Riley

Willy was not fond of the pinwheels headband.

Many of the pups quickly learned they could rid themselves of the head pieces by looking down!

As a surprise to me, when I finished with my 3 and walked away, Willy STAYED PUT. So he ended up in several other photos, lol.

Mickey giving his HuMom the famous head tilt!

    Willy Mickey and Peanut

    Tasha Riley Me and Willy

    More photos coming up!

The girls decided they wanted their photo with Mary Ellen's Mattie and Sassy. Although these 2 dogs are 21 months apart in age, they are true sister in that they have the same mother and father. I think this appealed to the girls.

Mary Ellen introduced her dogs to the girls and got the pups settled. You can see how happy to have a dog in her lap the younger one was!

Mattie checked who was holding her, while Sassy kept an eye on mom as she walked away.

    Four pretty girls

Mattie stayed for some 'quality time' afterwards.

Group shot - Mary Ellen's lap was full with both her dogs!

We had wonderful food as well. Quinoa salad with blueberries, strawberries and orange mandarins, and (in back) roasted chick peas.

Kale salad and a cheese, cracker and grapes platter. Also hamburgers, veggie burgers, beet and potato salad, watermelon and chocolate chip cookies.

The pups also had a special frozen dog treat I made, with yogurt, banana and peanut butter.
I think Tink and Rocky made friends for life!

I've heard from 2 folks that their pups slept for some time afterwards; and my 3 have been sleeping most of the evening. A lovely time, and nice memories.

Thank you for looking at these photos.

Yay, I was thinking about the Pawty today! I'm glad the weather was great and everyone had loads of fun!

    What fun!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
