    Crumpet is here! No pictures today because he is absolutely paralyzed with fear, poor baby. He is a very plump blue kitten whose fur has to be felt to be believed. It is DENSE and very soft!

    I did pick him up briefly, and he hissed once, then crouched down as low into my hands as he could get and tried to sloooowly sneak away. He's all covered up now in the dark with a bowl of food, and I think I hear him slurping!
