there is more emphasis on the front part, like BASSett.. it's pronounced like basset hound but that's not how she got her name. When I got her, I thought she looked like tiger ice cream, which is orange ice cream with black licorice. I didn't want to name her Tiger.. I thought it was too common. I also really didn't think she looked like a Licorice either, so I went with Bassett, which is a brand of licorice candies:Originally posted by Karen
