Oh, Freya! What a pretty girl you are!

So nice to "see" you and learn about your ongoing adjustment to your new FURREVER home and family.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Ooh, any cat trees at your house? Sounds like she might enjoy a high (and cat-sanctioned) perch to watch everything from!

Thanks for the words of encouragement! Karen, I agree I think I might need to get a tall tree. I have a few shorter ones around the house, but given Freya's propensity to jump, a tall one would probably be a good idea! Just need to come up with a place to put it!

I had some pretty good Freya time the other day. I found her on her usual favorite chair, so gently lifted the tablecloth and pet her. She ended up jumping down from the chair for some more pets for a few minutes. I captured a couple of pictures as "evidence"! LOL This is about as much as she takes, and then resorts back to running away from us. She comes out around us, but if we move toward her, she'll run. I did manage to snap a couple of pictures when she came out to lay with Phinehas in the sun on our family room carpet. Seems we're moving in the right direction!

I'm so happy to report that Freya is continuing to open up to us a bit more each day. I even got some purrs out of her and she followed us upstairs last night and hung out with us in the loft and even rubbed on our legs! Great progress! She's so incredibly soft! How sweet are she and Phinehas?
