Dearest Simon, what a blessing and a God-send indeed you are to your so-greatly-loving-and-beloved Purrrson! You have been such a good friend, covering the "night shift," to him/her ever since you were a tiny kitten and you and your Mom were rescued from the crawlspace. But now that dearest Teddy has gone to the Rainbow Bridge, you have taken his "day shift" too, providing company and companionship and so much comfort day and night to her/his grief-stricken heart. We know that Teddy Angel is watching from the Bridge, so happy that you are filling in for him here on earth. Blessings and comfort to you all!

And what a gorgeous, handsome orange fellow you are, Simon! You have that so-soft-looking orange-tabby fur with the white touches. And what a sweet, sweet face you have, with those pale-green eyes looking off as you rest so comfortably and happily in your Purrrson's arm. I would love to be able to reach right through the screen and pet you gently and skritch you under your chin... but since I can't, I know your dear Purrrson will do so happily for me, give you loads of pets and skritches .

Congratulations to you dearest Simon on being COTD. What a handsome lad you are! And what an angel you are to take over Teddy's daytime responsibilities of morning coffee and couch cuddles. Your support helped your Purrson through the pain of losing dear Teddy. We are very sorry to hear of Teddy's passing, but he is certainly looking down from the Rainbow Bridge and is very happy to know you're there doing his job and watching over your Purrson :-) Your Purrson is very lucky to have you, just as you were lucky to have been rescued by them when you were such a tiny kitten.
