Dearest Moon, what an utterly beautiful Australian British Shorthair kitty you are, and how great that is that you are both a breed cat, which your Pawpie wanted, and a rescue cat, which your Meowmie wanted.
You have that gorgeous plush grey fur coat there, and that sweet, round face with the lovely pale-yellow eyes, and you just look so content there in all your photos! And so you should, with the Purrrrfect home with people who love you dearly and you love right back. I wish I could reach through the screen all the way around the world to Melbourne to pet you.. and I read that you love tummy rubs too, so I'm also sending along some tummy rubs. Oh,well.. since I can't reach you myself, I know your loving Purrrents will give you loads of pets and tummy rubs for me
.
You are not only adorable to behold, you have the most delightful Purrrsonality too. You like to race around and chase your toy mousies, sometimes playing Fetch. You mostly stay indoors but sometimes enjoy using a log in the back yard as a scratching post, sniffing around the herb garden, and watching the sparrows and silver eyes in the trees. You and your Purrrents all love each other very much, don't you. What a delightful love-filled home you share!
Congratulations, darling Moon, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Meowmie and Pawpie and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite treats and games, perhaps even another round of Fetch.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
