Thanks for posting. Knowing the folks here on PT helps. Plus, all of you knew him from that first day when I trapped him and brought him home.

So unfair, you said it, Kirsten.

Oh no! I just was reading the thread about him not feeling well. I am so sad for you. I was really hoping either things would turn around or you'd at least get some more time with him.

    I am so sorry Sandie.

RIP Chaplin, gone way too soon.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!

Oh, Sandie, I am so very, very sorry. Deepest sympathy to you and your whole family there.

Rest in peace, dearest Chaplin, whole and healthy again at the Bridge. You have lived a wonderful life full of love since you first came home with your Sandie. Please send some purrs to her heart to remind her you and she are together always and you will welcome her HOME.. One Fine Day.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Oh no...dear little Chaplin. Sandie, if you had not trapped him he would have no one that cared about him and loved him so much as you did.

I remember feeling good when I suggested the name Chaplin because of his little moustache and that became his name.

Many gentle hugs to you, Sandie. You did the right thing, putting Chaplin's comfort ahead of your feelings.

    More {{{hugs}}}.

Thank you again everyone, for taking a moment to post.

Candace, I do recall you were the one who named him, always had that in my mind. And love that you came up with that name for him.
