Shelters do their best, especially with so many in need and limited funds. But they truly went the extra, EXTRA mile!!! Dear Bindi, I agree with everything that has already been said. You truly are a miracle kitty, living and thriving with your meowmie's diligent care. Such a sweet girl, too with your pretty eyes, your cute pink nose and your orange and white coat! I am sending you even more hugs, snuggles and lovies to celebrate you! Everybody say, Grrrr! Congratulations to you dearest Bindi on being COTD. Your story was so heartwarming and inspiring and you are such a beautiful girl. No one deserves this honor more than you. Thank goodness the shelter volunteers and vet worked to save you and that you, dear girl, were able to beat the odds. Thank goodness for your wonderful family too. You are a very blessed little kitty, but you family is also blessed to have you.
I wish I knew how to knit. If I did, I would gave purchased the Bindi pattern and knitted something in honor of you. Alas, I never learned to knit

Bindi is truly the sweetest little girrrl. I've known Bindi for most of her ten years. The first time I met her she was in her carrier, I couldn't see her, but, oh I heard her. I thought there was a dog in the carrier. She really growls. She is such a little character and full of so many surprises. She is so soft and her coloring reminds me of a Dreamsicle. Because of the love and effort of so many people she is still walking among us. Her Mom (Karen) has met her every need with so much love and grace, it is a tribute to her that Bindi has come so far.
