Dearest Bindi, what an utterly sweet and beautiful orange kitty you are! We are so grateful to those marvelous people of the Burbank Animal Shelter who took you in and cared for you with your multiple disabilities and injuries, and then that marvelous woman who adopted you and brought you HOME, where you have lived and thrived and blossomed for ten years now! What a wonderful story of love you and they have been sharing and now you share with us all. Thank you so much, Volunteers of the Burbank Animal Shelter, and Bindi's Meowmie Karen, and dearest Bindi yourself! Blessings to you all!

You are such a lovely little orange and white girl, Bindi, with that so-soft-looking fur and the sweet face with the little pink nose and the pale yellow-orange eyes looking straight out at me with so much joy and contentment. I love the closeup of your face and am nearly hypnotized by the gaze in those eyes. I would love to be able to reach right through the screen all the way over to L.A. to pet you.. but since I can't, I know your dear Meowmie will pet you for me .

And what a delightful Purrrsonality you have, too, sweet Bindi! You enjoy sunny spots, and you like to stare across the room at people. You sometimes sleep under the covers with Meowmie Karen, and you awaken her each day by batting her nose. You are so full of love and enjoyment of life, and you tell the world "Everybody say Grrrrr!" My cats and I are all joining in in response to you: "Grrrrr!"

Congratulations, darling Bindi, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your dear Karen and Burbank Animal Shelter folks and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats. Grrrrr!

I'm so very happy to hear that you've regained your hearing and sight, that your seizures are well controlled with medication! And there aren't words sufficient to express my gratitude to the Burbank Animal Shelter for going the extra, EXTRA mile to save you! Shelters do their best, especially with so many in need and limited funds. But they truly went the extra, EXTRA mile!!! And of course, great thanks to your parents for taking the baton, opening up their home and hearts to such a special girl, a special needs girl! People like your purrents are heroes in my book! Congratulations to you dearest Bindi on being COTD. Your story was so heartwarming and inspiring and you are such a beautiful girl. No one deserves this honor more than you. Thank goodness the shelter volunteers and vet worked to save you and that you, dear girl, were able to beat the odds. Thank goodness for your wonderful family too. You are a very blessed little kitty, but you family is also blessed to have you.

I wish I knew how to knit. If I did, I would gave purchased the Bindi pattern and knitted something in honor of you. Alas, I never learned to knit

Bindi is truly the sweetest little girrrl. I've known Bindi for most of her ten years. The first time I met her she was in her carrier, I couldn't see her, but, oh I heard her. I thought there was a dog in the carrier. She really growls. She is such a little character and full of so many surprises. She is so soft and her coloring reminds me of a Dreamsicle. Because of the love and effort of so many people she is still walking among us. Her Mom (Karen) has met her every need with so much love and grace, it is a tribute to her that Bindi has come so far.
