Oh, dearest Miss Nancy Jones, what a stunningly beautiful Norwegian Forest Cat you are, with your long fluffy ebony fur with the white trim and orange highlights, and the sweet face with the green eyes and the long, LOOOOOONG white whiskers and eyebrows! It is shocking to think that you were badly mistreated by a former "owner," but thank God for the good people of the RSPCA Stubbington Ark for rescuing you and then your beloved Mummy and Daddy Pam and Taff for adopting you and bringing you HOME.
And not only are you gorgeous to see, you are a very busy girl, too! What a long list of hobbies and duties you perform regularly. You even have your very own book written about you! And you are so full of affection, too. You and your Purrrents love each other dearly, don't you! What a delightful, love-filled home you all share.
Congratulations, darling Miss Nancy Jones, on being chosen today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and Pam and Taff and the RSPCA Stubbington Ark folks and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
