Puppy in deep snow
Freezing fragile puppy pads
In now please, I'm COLD

Raisins, cinnamon
And brown sugar oatmeal make
Me one happy human

Eagle quietly
Broods on her snow-covered nest
No storm for her eggs

Kind of excited
For the new storm approaching
But know I'm alone

Trying my hardest
To not get my hopes too high
In case it's all slush
