    It has snowed all night
But it seems to have stopped now
    For the time being.
Praying for peace in the Middle East, Ukraine, and around the world.

I've been Boo'd ... right off the stage!

Aaahh, I have been defrosted! Thank you, Bonny and Asiel!
Brrrr, I've been Frosted! Thank you, Asiel and Pomtzu!

    Long delayed justice

    Night has come, with it
The beep and scrape of snowplows
    Disrupts cold stillness

    Winter fun? Snow Men!
    Not the optimal best friends.
    They all melt, indoors?

    Fresh banana bread
    Cools on the counter, tempting
    But too hot to taste

    One cannot sneak one
Slice off a newly baked loaf
    And go unnoticed

    New snow on the ground
    Winter Olympics on tube.
    It's the ambience?

    Watching in warm clime-
No snow to be found on ground?
    Come on, It's winter!

    My So Cal fashion
    T shirts, cargo pants, sandals
    Have no place in ice.

    Boxed away, hiding
All my summer clothes and shoes
    In time, warmer again?

    Stomping ice off shoes
Ice chips stick and melt on floor.
    Blame it on snow man?

    Banana bread is
Best shared-brought two loaves to church
    Uncle Mac would smile

    Sent a few slices
    Home to an ailing member
    Banana bread heals

    frost on the window panes
    birds crowding around the feeders
    frost on the trees
oh how I wish for a warm southern breeze
The frost is on the pumpkin & I've been BOO'D by two pet talk ghosts.
    Thank you Fritz & Cassiesmom

    Children bundled up
trudging down the street to wait
    For the school bus
The secret of life is nothing at all

Hey you, don't tell me there's no hope at all -
    Together we stand
    Divided we fall.

    I laugh, therefore? I am.

    The only sound now
Is the quiet hush of snow
    Filling air and sky

    Even the wild birds
    Are quiet within the hedge
    Conserving their song

    Just a tease? We'll see ...
