Update on my mom and dad .....
My dad was put on sulpha (sp?) medication for a month, and then is to have his prostate rechecked. If it is not better, they will "discuss other options." 
I just got back from Utah, taking my mom to an eye specialist. Good news - it is NOT a tumor!! They are not sure what caused the problem. She is to return in a month for a recheck. If the bleeding/swelling in her eye is worse, or no better, they will either recommend a steroid injection into her eye (OUCH!) or surgery.
So ... basically .... a month of "wait and see" for both of them. Could be better news ... but could also be a WHOLE lot worse!
