Knowing people care about us is very important. )))))) I've never had a bond like this with all the animals I've had over my lifetime, and I've had several. All my companions have been loved, but because Hobbes is older, I've developed even more a bond with him. Right now he is sleeping on my bed...I can see him from the living room where I'm in. He sends all his purrrrrs your way!
