When I went to the BBQ, the deal with my husband was that he would join me as I fly down to LA for a barbeque with people that I have never met in person, then he gets a motorcycle.
The motorcycle currenty collects dust in the garage and I have great memories of wonderful people and a fabulous host.
I think I got the better part of the deal.

I was just running errands and was in line at CVS behind a young woman with very bright PINK sneakers on, and I had to smile, thinking Gini would love them! She and I had a conversation about them, she said they were so pink she almost didn't buy them, but now loves them, especially for her kickboxing class!

In L.A. I was in shorts and a tank top. Now in Vancouver I'm bundled up with a winter coat, boots, scarf, hat and mittens.
How I long for L.A.I could easily "winter" there.
