Not sure how Bruce will handle this until I get home from work. Maybe he'll just put them in the backyard.
But if they were allowed to, they'd greet everyone and run outside with them. But you never know if someone is afraid of dogs, so we just keep them back.
I've had kids ask if they can pet them, and of course I let them.

The cats will be hiding back in the bedroom as they always do when the dogs bark.
Well, we had one trick-or-treater (our 8 year old neighbor twins) before I got home, and only one after (a 3 year old with, what I thought were, her parents, but they had bags for candy too). So we didn't have to deal with barking dogs or hiding kitties this year.
