Dearest Gilbert, what a fantastic role-model cat you are in your first picture! Cats all around the world are looking at the picture and thinking "That's just how I want to do it!" and "I need to study his technique!" And as your fellow Hamiltonian Gary just said, "..it is not really stealing as everything in the home belongs to the Cat."
All your photos are delightful! I wish I could reach through the screen and across the bridge and all the way to Hamilton to pet you and to give that tummy in the last picture some RUB-RUB-RUBs! (I hope one of your loving family members will give you some pets and rubs for me.) You are such a good-looking orange tabby guy, and I LOOOOOVE the closeup of you fast asleep with your pretty reddish-pink nosie right up front. And in another shot you're jumping up snatching at ... something, perhaps a flying cheese?... and then you're enjoying a well-earned rest in the one above that. What a busy, well-rounded life you live!
And not only are you utterly gorgeous to look at, you amaze your humans constantly with all your gifts and talents. As your human says, "He could open kitchen cupboards, climb ladders, catch flies, has a strange affection for bread or baked goods, and one time I even caught him jumping up and used both paws to try turning a door knob." You sleep on Meowmie's bed with her because she is 'mom' to you! And how nice that you have a kitty buddy, Sullivan (of course!) to play with, too. You and your whole family all love each other very, very much. What a wonderful, love-filled home you all share!
Congratulations, darling Gilbert, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and and Sullivan and all your family and friends are enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite games and treats, perhaps even another packet of cheese!

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.
