Angel doesn't try.....she DOES. With feeling.

It feels fall-ish here - leaves are turning, the early ones falling - and Paul has actually had some hot cocoa 3 days in a row! Still no frost expected anytime soon ...

All the world (except me) seems to be chuffed about pumpkin spice latte right now ... you can get it at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts and even McDonald's has it...

    Pumpkin Spice Latte
    2 cups milk
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
1 to 2 tablespoons sugar (to taste)
    1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    1/2 cup hot brewed coffee
    Garnish, if desired:
Whipped cream, dash pumpkin pie spice, 2 cinnamon sticks

    Step 1
In 2-quart saucepan, heat milk, pumpkin and sugar over medium heat until hot (do not boil). Remove from heat. Stir in 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, the vanilla and coffee.
    Step 2
Pour into 2 large mugs. Garnish each with whipped cream, dash pumpkin pie spice and a cinnamon stick.

    It's fall.

Playoff baseball and baked apples in the oven. Anyone want any?

Oh, yeah. It's been a blast in Chicago All. Season. Long. Loss after loss after loss. Oh wait, they won! Losses and more losses. The Cubs, the White Sox. Lots of fun - NOT. And the Bears lost to Washington, a 1-4 team, yesterday. Grrrrf. Thank goodness hockey is back!
