I am not in love with New Jersey, for a variety of reasons but I've grown up here and these are places I can tell stories about and where I grew up. They were gone last year after Sandy. I don't believe that any homes were lost - were they Alysser? The Phila stations started covering it soon after it started, and pretty much stayed with it from then on. ABC was reporting that the fire had crossed the street and was effecting homes, but I never heard anything more about that particular aspect. I believe it was just an 8 block stretch that was totaled - business and the boardwalk too.
