Dearest Louis, what a stunningly beautiful orange kitty you are! You have just the sweetest, wisest look on your pretty face, with those big green eyes looking out at us, those long white (and a few black) whiskers, your cute little pink nosie with all the black specks on it.. and that surely is a big smile on your face in all the photos! And we LOOOOOOVE the last picture with you on your back, tummy up and paws tucked under.. showing off all your lovely orange fur. I wish I could reach through the screen all the way to Banbury in the UK to give you some tummy rubs (which your Purrrson says you love to get)! I hope he/she will give you some for me.

Not only are you adorable, you have a delightful Purrrsonality and your family loves you dearly. How good of your humans to go to the local rescue, where they found their most wonderful friend in you . You make them smile with your affectionate antics, giving them kisses and nonstop purrs, staying close by whoever is near, spending each night curled up with them, and being tucked in when it's cold. And your love your food.. and everyone else's!

And that is so nice that you have a younger kitty, Reggie, to inspire as an older brother figure and to lick clean when he needs it. What a delightful home full of love you and your whole family all share!

Oh, beautiful Louis! I like your ginger color and your freckly nose! Your wonderful green eyes and your long whiskers! I am so glad you aren't wandering around the neighborhood anymore. I am just catching up with my Cat of the Day postings and saw that Louis was not too far away from Wells. You probably know this but the Wells Cathedral cat is also a lovely orange boy named Louis. You can see more about him at:

We were lucky to see him strolling around behind the cloisters. There is also quite a bit of Louis memorabilia in the Cathedral store (we have the clock). I think your Louis is cuter.
