I don't think it was mere chance that your family came upon you in that ad that fateful day, a higher power leading them to you, knowing that you were in need of one extra special forever family, and oh, didn't you (and they), hit the jackpot! Mere months after coming home, that malnourished, desperately ill puppy has grown into one stunning, healthy and happy girl, relishing every minute of her wonderful new life...complete with devoted parents, wholesome food, AC, and even a couple of kitty friends to pal around with (when they're of a mind)!
