Right now the primary race for mayor of New York City is in full swing. In today's Daily News one of the candidates said he would never shut a subway down for a kitten - this candidate is the former head of the MTA. Each of the other candidates said they would have done the same thing.
Well, guess who might as well drop out of the race right now? At least the other candidates show they have a heart!

I read the story earlier today - what cuties! I see they weren't named after the two subway routes that were shut down - probably just as well!
