Love the pictures, they're all so cute but I have trouble telling them apart---except for Willy with the wet face from his watermelon...that had me in tears. If you lived close by I would take Tony in a jiffy, males and females always get along. I'm thinking of having the other pup I took in spayed...and yes, I know it won't help the fighting but it's a last resort and one can always hope. I found out no one wants her because she's black-had no idea people didn't go for black dogs. Pretty silly because she would make such a great companion for someone who is alone or just a couple, even with a male dog she would be fine.

    Thanks for posting, Asiel.

Yes black dogs and black cats have a tough time getting homes. Part of it is, it is difficult to see their facial expressions.

    Thanks for looking !

One of the sweetest little dogs to ever walk the face of this Earth was black. Her name was/is Myndi.

It looks like Sandie does a darn good job of rescuing the black cats, tho.

I'm just busting chops here, ladies........... I didn't take any offense to the comments.

    No offense taken, Ellie.

Apparently, even other animals find it difficult to read the facial expressions of black faced animals. Which is a good thing for the blackie as a predator! This is why the vast majority of feral cats have black faces. It works to their advantage.
