Tears fell as I read your human's love filled tribute to her/his beautiful best friend of a lifetime! I had a "Simba" in my life as well. His name was Hambone, and he was my best friend since the age of 5 until the age of 26, several years after I was married...21 wonderful years! And so, I can well relate to the very special bond of love and friendship you two have shared these many years! How lucky your person has been these many years, having a soul mate in you, Simba; a best furry friend and confidant to share her secrets and worries with, the good times and sad times, the laughs and the tears! And judging by your eternally youthful spirit AND looks, it's clear you and she still have a ton more living and loving to do!
