Dearest Simba, what a handsome, distinguished gentleman kitty you are! You have the most beautiful pale orange and white soft-looking fur.. oh I wish I could reach to London and pet you! And what a sweet face, with your white whiskers and pink nosie and half-open eyes with the expression of pure "been there, done that" contentment. And we love your white toesies with the pink paw pads, too. You certainly are a gorgeous feline!
And not only are you gorgeous, you have the most wonderful family. How nice that you and your mum got to grow up together! You and she are Best Friends Forever, aren't you, playing together and cuddling together and you drinking from her cups and you waking her up so you can get up together. You are her little lion, and you and she love each other dearly. And you have two other kitty housemates to play with, and four doggies that mummy protects you from. What a long, love-filled life .. almost 17 years now!.. you and your mum have shared and we hope will continue to share for a long time to come.
Congratulations, darling Simba, on being selected today's Cat of the Day! We hope you and your mum and your whole family are all enjoying a fine day of celebration, full of fun and lovies and all your favorite treats and games, even some more catnip and some new little rubber balls to play fetch with.

I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Simba,
Your mom and best friend did such a beautiful job paying tribute to you; it actually brought tears to my eyes. It is so obvious how much you two love eachother and I am so happy that you have eachother. You are truly a majestic orange-man...your name does you justice. I had an orange cat years ago named Rocky but we used to call him "Mufasa" because he truly was a lion king
Congratulations on being our very own Royal, Cat of the Day!! Give your mum a headbump from my kitties, Moon and Bean.
What a gorgeous orangie you are Simba. And what a wonderful story you and your owner have. As you are getting older, and kidney problems are common in older cats, I suggest that your owner get you some "Kidney Gold" fka "Tripsy". It is a natural liquid drops supplement, available on www.petwellbeing.com, and it has many good reviews. I give it to several of my older cats. I also have a little black/gray striped girl named Simba, and she is 19 this year. Please have your Mummy check into it for you. I am sure she wants you with her as long as possible. Congrats on being Cat of the Day and God Bless you both.![]()
What a handsome 16 year old! The bond you have with your mummy is very special! Enjoy life, and enjoy being Cat of the Day, Simba!!!![]()
How wonderful that you are still so active at 17! I recently lost my 18 yr old boy and can understand the love that you feel for someone who has been in your life forever! Keep up the good work and love for your boy, and I hope you stay together as long as possible with your senior boy. And Simba, happy COTD.
Beautiful ginger Simba, what a special fellow you are! I agree with MoonandBean - you are majestic! Your orange and white coat looks so soft to pet - could you please have your mum give you some extra petting for me. I think you are very smart to gently awaken your mum for play time, or to snuggle with her until she wakes up to play with you! Then you share something warm to drinkand have fun with your cat toys or enjoy some catnip! You have a wonderful, life-long relationship
! Happy Cat of the Day to you, precious ginger Simba!
