Dearest Chapel, what a gorgeous Abyssinian kitty girl you are! And don't you have just the sweetest face, with those pale green eyes. What a lovely color of red your fur is.. I wish I could reach over to Utah and pet you! And you are so cute in that last photo licking your chops.

You are a lady of many, varied experiences, aren't you. First you travel in a carrier bag on a plane from Oklahoma to Utah.. and then you get used to human children and come to enjoy playing with them.. and you catch a mouse now and then. You are the strong, silent type, making hardly any sound and only allowing yourself to be held after being petted sufficiently. You let your Purrrson know when you want some affection by pushing open the bedroom door and rubbing up against his/her leg. You are very well-mannered and never misbehave, and your humans love you dearly. What a delightful home full of love you all share!

I have to say, Chapel, your trademark red coat and your luminous sea green eyes are breathtaking, and oh yes, you ARE quite the photogenic feline, Chapel, supermodel material for sure You took the long way home, traveling all the way from OK to Utah to be with your Mommy! That's quite an adventure for a young kitty, traveling by jumbo jet, but well worth the trip, no doubt! How lucky your Mommy is, having a beautiful best friend and loving companion in you, Chapel! This is my seven-year-old Abyssinian cat, Chapel. My cat is special because she's seen a lot in her seven years, and she has been around kids for five of the seven years. She's grown to love and play with them, and never gets upset with the kids. Chapel got her name from a church just a little ways from us.

A fun story is that she was born in Oklahoma, and she was flown down to Utah with my stepmother. She went on a travel car bag on a commercial airliner at seven months old - quite an achievement! She likes to hang around the house outside too, occasionally catching a mouse once every few weeks - which is a great accomplishment for her.

Chapel is highly photogenic. She's also a very quiet cat, andever makes a sound most of the time. She doesn't like to be held, but if you pet her enough she'll let you hold her. She can be affectionate at times, she'll sometimes push open my bedroom door, come in and and rub up against my leg. She's well mannered and never misbehaves! We love her!

Chapel, you are an absolutely gorgeous Aby kitty! I like your sweet facial expression, your gorgeous green eyes and your wonderful golden coat! I think I know who is in charge at your house, and that's you! Deciding how much petting is enough, letting yourself into your purr-son's bedroom, keeping track of the human kids and catching the occasional mouse (eek!). The camera sure likes you, Chapel! You are such a lovely lady! Happy Cat of the Day!
