    Thanks so much, everyone! Your greetings and good wishes are so deeply appreciated!

    The cats made their contributions to the festivities: I found someone had thrown up on the bedroom rug, and someone (maybe two someones) peed on the newspaper-covered mats in front of not just one but both bedroom litterboxes! (That's why the mats are covered with newspapers.)
