    Thanks everyone, I just got home. Surgery went extremely well, I am told, and I'm just tired but that will happen when you are awoken at 4 a.m., then 6:30, then 7:15, then ...

    I am a bit sore, but this will pass. Good riddance to bad parts, I say! (Two nodules, one in each side, but now they are gone, and no need for chemo or radiation or anything so over and out!)

    It's good to hear you're back home - that was quick. Take your time to recover and get some sleep. A couple of hours here and there is just not good enough!

    Hope you're back to normal in a few days!

    I'm glad everything came out all right. One thing to be careful about thyroid hormone replacement: generics are OK, but it's important to stick with one manufacturer only. Thyroid hormone is touchy to get right. Good luck!
